The translation is very good too, something that not all VN's can attest to. The five short after stories (2-3 hours each depending on reading speed) for each of the Mihama academy girls are all heartwarming and fun "what if" situations, and I enjoyed them a lot.The main story in this game is the Grand route, starting with Yuuji's past and finally filling us in on what made the main character who he is and it sets up for the final game in the series, which can't come soon enough in my opinon. It goes without saying that you really need to have played the first game to enjoy this one, if you enjoyed the story in the first game then you will not regret getting this one and I fully recommend it.If the cost of the title is prohibitive I'd recommend waiting for a sale or if you're after the 18+ version, 3 months (ish) after the steam release it should be available from Denpasoft.TL;DR - I very much enjoyed this game and if you enjoyed the first game I fully recommend this one too.. honestly when i saw this came out i was so hyped i bought it right away but when i saw to h-scences it went to check if there was a patch for it. but i found out in my search that they even cut out the dirty jokes in this version and now i feel extremely disapionted cause now i don't feel like i got what i paid for one of the best parts about grisaia was its dirty jokes. honestly i could live without the h-scenes its still cut content but in the end they didn't add anything but by cencoring the diaolge like that that are harming the core content it self. now i am going to have to re-go over the routes i finished when the 18+ version realeses to get the full experience and i hate re-reading stuff i have already read. this whole thing has actualy♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥me off. i love this series and the fact that i can never truly get the full experience anymore makes me angry. and i honestly feel cheated out of my money because they altered the core content.in short if you really like grisaia wait for the 18+ version regardless if you want h-scences for the full experience.. Half of it is fan service and half is the MC's back story. The unrated version is better.Michiru's after story is worth it.. Ah yes, グリザイアの迷宮, Le Labyrinthe De La Grisaia... Or just simply "The Labyrinth of Grisaia". I remember when I read this visual novel for the first time in its original Japanese version on PC many months ago. I've had so much fun reading through these stories. I laughed. I cried. I became a Yuuji-wannabe.Having a $40 price tag is not enough for me to give a negative review. Sure, maybe I could buy a more interactive and time-consuming game with that price, but the Grisaia story, as a whole, remains a masterpiece. I had to pay around 6000 yen (roughly $55 USD) for this game when I was in Japan, but it was still worth it. Fortunately, for most of you westerners, you don't have to slam your head against uncommon, hard-to-read kanji that would appear in the original Japanese version of the game. You now have a localized English version of the game that can be read with finess.Sure, the sex scenes may be omitted from this version of the game, but who cares about that if all you're interested in is the story?. I dont recommend this games because it's too pricey compared to the lenght of the main story. I have finished it in 12 hours without skipping at all. Yeah you might enjoy the "After" stories but the main story interests me mostly. Thus this is not unrated version means adult stuff and even jokes or anything adult related is removed. Wait for the unrated version if you want something good.. There are two sections of the game.1) The individual routes for the girls are there for your enjoyment. They tie back to Fruit of Grisaia (the first game). The routes for the girls do NOT tie to the main story line of the game, which will be continued in Eden of Grisaia.2) The protagonist male's route (Cocoon of Caprice) is the main story. This is the story that will be continued on in Eden of Grisaia. It is VERY dark, but it is seriously awesome. I couldn't put it down.Do yourself a favor and buy Eden of Grisaia when you buy Labyrinth of Grisaia. Then plan on playing the individual routes of the girls unil you are ready to read the Cocoon of Caprice (in Labyrinth of Grisaia) and Eden of Grisaia over a long weekend. Once you start reading the Cocoon of Caprice, you will not want to put the story down until you have finished reading Eden of Grisaia.. 10/10 would pretend it's winter with Chiruchiru again. Even if it's shorter than the Fruit it is totally worth the money!
