I just realized that I got ripped off on this DLCeverything is pre-modded. It's somewhat deceaving to be honest. Sure it's cool, the different type of variations of the same cars. However this not near compared to actually doing "MODS". I was under the belief that you would be able to to motor swaps from let's just say..simple i4 sohc to a i6\/v8\/v6 swap, or even tune the different ways to lower\/raise the vehicle. Honestly I would not recomment this dlc as it does seem deceaving on what you can actually do to the cars. It's basically..go to the auction house, buy a maluch that the standard engine, then the next one in line is a rwd rear mounted v8 drag car version..which you would think by buying this dlc you would just be able to use the basic maluch and do an engine swap? Nah. It's cool, but not what was expected. Also, the widebody munich in the "dlc" pic, I have yet to even see that... If you're interested in doing complete rebuilds of cars, but you don't want to spend hours playing this game building up your xp first, then this is the DLC for you.I completely understand the progression and the intentions behind it but personally the appeal for me has always been taking a beat up old car and turning it into a dream machine.The sandbox option means that you don't have to grind for hours to unlock the parking lot and various other structures, you can jump straight into the good stuff.The only complaint I would have is that you shouldn't really have to pay for DLC to get a sandbox option, since it takes almost nothing from the dev to unlock this in the base game. They basically just need to start you off with a load of XP.. Its cool. But... it add all of these as new cars, rather the modifications to existing ones, so its now even harder to find a model your looking for. Havent seen a 200SL since I was in the reparing other peopls cars phase of the game.If this was more like the engine swap ability, it would be killer. But 10 second Malch is a riot, even if (for some reason) its Deloran powered.. Awesome! Works very Good. Love this Game!
